Plans for my next trip

Italia!

I've always travelled to set destinations before. I fly into the airport, get a bus/cab/tube to my hotel/b&b yadda yadda & then spend the next few days exploring & seeing as much of the City as I can.

This next trip though i'm flying into one airport & leaving via another meaning, yes, I will actually be a'properl' traveller lol! As you can tell, i'm a novice traveller, hence my delight at being able, hopefully, to travel from City to City & see a few different places as opposed to just my principle City.

My plan for September is too fly into Olbia, Sardinia. Have a few days there, exploring the Island & relaxing on the beach, enjoying the gorgeous looking Costa Smeralda (Emerald Coast) before jumping on a night ferry over to Livorno Italy.

After a quick look around here, my plan is to then get a train to Pisa to see the leaning tower etc & spend the best part of the day there before heading to my hotel in Florence. I've never been to Tuscany, it's always looked so beautifally apealing to me that I simply can't wait!

I have been to Roma & although it has breathtakingly beautiful buildings, monuments & fantastic relics, the Vatican & St.Peters which is devine, I wasn't overly impressed with the whole hustle & bustle of a terribly busy & impatient City. I swear if another moped driver had clipped my ass whilst crossing the road I would of screamed!

Anyway.. after a few days in Florence I then head to the delights of Bologna where I stay a final night befoe flying back from Forli.

The flight's only cost me a fiver each way, inc tax, so it's a total bargain. I've tried to keep exspenses low with my accomodation as I like to travel a few times a year.

I'll let you know how I get on & fingers crosse this trip lives up to my expectations!
